The Irwin 52 continues to gain more of a following with time. She was a trend setting boat as a deck saloon cruiser before there were deck-saloon cruisers. This Ted Irwin design is arguably his most successful, with more than 250 boats launched between 1976 and 1987. This is the newer and more desirable Series II model. The three-cabin layout, with a very spacious main salon and roomy island-queen master aft, provides 6'6" headroom. Even the center cockpit offers space and headroom nottypically available in a private yacht that a couple can manage. This vessel offers substantially more than a mid-40's center cockpit boat yet can be sailed and docked by two people. She is attractive to the eye and is capable of going anywhere in comfort and safety.
