I met Josh eight years ago when my wife and I were searching for a boat. During that process he was more than helpful, and we purchased what was likely to be our last boat. Over the years he has kept in touch about the boat, how it weathered the hurricane and such.

Over the past three years my health has headed the wrong way – not what I had planned for retirement. The past year has been a particular challenge, and the decision was made to sell the boat. Unfortunately, I’m not able to travel now, and when I contacted Josh he was more than willing to take care of any repairs and make ready for sale. It turned out there were several things that needed to be repaired, and he coordinated the work using several contractors. It was all done with first rate services and at reasonable prices.

Through all, Josh was personally very supportive. Selling the boat was not an easy decision to make. I am very appreciative of Josh’s extra efforts in this.

It turned out that I didn’t accept the vessel which had very little to do with the vessel itself. I just found it too small for my charter business. During my time with Josh, I also had some interaction with your staff (Liz and Jordan) who I found to be very cordial and helpful.

I was CEO of a family manufacturing business for many years. If there was one thing I would often say to my staff it was “make it easy and fun for our customers to do business with us.” Seems like you have been saying the same thing.

I wanted to write you anyway to let you know how much we have appreciated working with Josh. We appreciate his guidance and jumping on things quickly. My schedule has me traveling a lot so it makes it hard to be available to look at boats at times. Josh worked around my schedule and locked in on what we were looking for. I guess its probably normal but that changed at least two or three times. He worked us through features that we thought we didn’t want and features that we knew we wanted. Even those changed significantly. We sincerely appreciated the educational aspect as we moved toward finding the right boat. It’s a step up in size for us so having that guidance we felt was critical. Josh helped us put the right deal together so it worked for both us and the owner. The very first offer was what we closed on. That part too was no stress and pleasant. He articulated what each party wanted/needed and we got it done without any haggling.

It has been good working with you all. Thank you again for the note. I passed it on to my wife. She texted me and said she also really appreciated it.

Hey Kent, Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that Josh was a big help when looking for a boat this month. We were able to drill down exactly to the boat I wanted, and he didn’t waste my time trying to upsell me to a giant boat that I didn’t want. He was professional and helpful the entire time. Will definitely contact you guys again when it comes time to either sell or upgrade.

I eventually got the 2019 Catalina 355 ‘Petite Bateau’. So far I’m loving it. She performed beautifully on the sail down to Corpus Christi. It’s looking like Laura will miss Houston, and I hope all is well on and off the water for you all.
